The Bridgewater Fire Department Band is saddened to share the passing of longtime member James Richardson, fondly known as “Jimmy” and our steadfast tuba player. He has been a member of the band since the age of 12 in 1965, and provided his service to the band and community at large for over 60 years. His dedication was recognized in 2018 with the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers. He was a wonderful friend and musician and will be missed dearly.
