Bridgewater Fire Department 150th Anniversary Open House

The Bridgewater Fire Department will mark 150 years of service with a community open house on May 30 from 1 to 4 p.m. at 81 Dominion Street. The event will feature activities for all ages, along with live music from the department’s band throughout the afternoon.

Members of the band will perform at intervals during the event, providing a mix of music as visitors explore the station and take part in the day’s activities. The open house will give residents a chance to tour fire apparatus and equipment and meet local firefighters. A free barbecue with hot dogs and cake will be available, and children can enjoy bouncy houses and other activities.

For the band, the event is an opportunity to contribute to an important milestone for the department and the town. We are looking forward to playing for friends, families, and visitors as part of the celebration. We will also be debuting a new piece of music written especially for this special anniversary.

The band invites everyone to come and say hello!
