Over the past few months, we’ve been fortunate to have Ian Bolton step in as Interim Musical Director for the Bridgewater Fire Department Band. Ian has been with the band since 1997 and has been instrumental (pun not intended) in the band’s executive team as Bandmaster. He has also previously volunteered as a fire fighter with the department, and recently retired from a long career with Michelin.
Ian brings a wealth of experience, encouragement, and enthusiasm to every rehearsal and performance. His leadership helped keep the band moving forward through a busy spring and summer, and we truly appreciate the time and dedication he gave to our members.
On behalf of everyone in the BFD Band, we’d like to extend a sincere thank you to Ian for stepping in at this exciting but also unpredictable time. Ian will be performing with the band tonight at the Big Ex Parade, we hope to see you there!
