We’re getting our fund drive underway and have a few goals we’re hoping to work towards over the coming months.
Our biggest goal is to raise funds for a trip to the UK in August 2027, where we’ll have the opportunity to perform alongside the West Yorkshire Fire Service Band. It’s an exciting opportunity for our members, and we’re looking forward to making it happen.
There are also a few other needs we’d like to address, including a new timpani that can be moved out of the fire hall more safely (currently requiring a quite precarious trip down the fire escape), a bass clarinet, uniforms for new members, and ongoing instrument repairs.
We’re reaching out to local businesses and companies for donations and support. We’ll also have a few exciting things planned for our upcoming Christmas Concert on December 13, including a door prize for concertgoers, and we’re considering a 50/50 draw as well.
Every little bit helps, whether it’s a business donation, a contribution at the concert, or simply spreading the word. We appreciate the support of our local community and everyone who helps keep the Bridgewater Fire Department Band going. If you or your organization are interested in supporting the band, you can visit our donation page.
Thank you to all who have supported us this year and every year!
