Canada Day will be a busy one for the Bridgewater Fire Department Band as we take part in celebrations in both Bridgewater and New Germany on July 1.
Our day starts at 10:30 a.m. at Pijinuiskaq Park as part of Canada Day on the LaHave. The celebration will feature live entertainment, family activities, local vendors, cultural programming, and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends and neighbours throughout the day. It’s always a great atmosphere, and we’re excited to help kick off the festivities.
In the afternoon, we’ll head to New Germany for the community’s annual Canada Day Parade, which begins at 2:00 p.m. at New Germany Elementary School. The parade is one of the highlights of a full day of celebrations that brings the community together.
Canada Day is one of our favourite opportunities to get out into the community and share music with people of all ages. We hope to see you there.
